A
wedding dress is no ordinary dress and requires specialist handling.
Usually it has to be taken apart, with care to preserve the delicate
fabric and trim, and recut to your measurements. Often an alteration
needs a designer's eye to solve a problem, such as enlarging a bodice
which is too tight where there is no spare seam allowance to let out.
Small details can customise a dress and make it truly your own unique gown for your special day.
Your
bridesmaids dresses might need a little tweaking here and there to make
them fit properly. You want them to enjoy the day feeling at their
best.
If you have children as bridesmaids or pages, make sure
they are comfortable - often children become fractious if their clothes
are uncomfortable.
The men, too, needn't suffer in waistcoats or trousers that are too tight or too long.
